About Cheese & Chutney

.

Cheese & Chutney was founded by Annette Scanlon in 2020

After almost two decades grafting in cafes, kitchens, events and catering it is finally time to go out on my own… It only took a Global Pandemic to give me the final push!

I was always obsessed with food and hospitality. As a 12 year old I used to beg my mam to let me make the dinner for her & dad (it didn’t take much begging to get the go ahead!). I’d read books and glamourise working in hotels and event planning. For as long as I can remember I knew I wanted to work in the industry & with that I got my BA in Hospitality Management.

Quickly I got into my first management role at a local hotel & never looked back. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to work with The Kemp sisters at ITSA, Clodagh Mc Kenna & most recently with Compass Group and the Google Food Program.

Why Cheese & Chutney?

We’re bringing the Australian phenomenon to Dublin, Meath and surrounding areas.

Grazing is fast becoming the “next big thing” in catering and we’re leading the charge. If a standard buffet or mini canapes just won’t cut it,  you’ve landed on the right page!

Our bespoke displays and “cakes” bring people together. They’re the perfect show-stopping element for any stylish, chic & authentic celebration.

Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, anniversary, birthday party, hen party, stag do, girls night, guys night, or you just fancy grazing in your pj’s we’ve got something to suit your needs!

Supporting Local Farmers

Cheese and Chutney is a small Irish owned and founded business. Our ethos is to support local companies and use fresh, seasonal Irish produce where possible.

Luxury Dining

After 20 years in the industry, we know food. From a single box to a grazing table for 300, each element is handcrafted with care. All of our grazes are chic and beautiful, with the Cheese & Chutney look. Our homemade accompaniments add another layer to set us apart from our competitors.

Sustainable Promise

Between growing our own fruits and veggies and sourcing produce locally we’re reducing our carbon footprint and doing our bit for the environment. Our packaging and smallwares are 100% recyclable.
